Thomas Costello, Founder of Live To Be 120 And Healthy<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>We have often heard the phrase the more you fight against it the stronger it becomes.\u00a0What does this mean?\u00a0We have been conditioned in this culture to believe that only the strong survive or the squeaky wheel gets the oil.\u00a0But how does that bear out in the long-run?\u00a0And does it help us to truly get what it is that we are seeking.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>It easy to\u00a0become disillusioned with the challenges that we run into in life.\u00a0Going to the mailbox and seeing bills, dealing with hurried drivers or turning on the television to hear the latest news in the political arena.\u00a0We are bombarded with thousands of messages each day.\u00a0The question then becomes how do we filter those messages and stay on course with what give us real meaning and happiness?\u00a0With all of these messages coming at us every minute and second of the day, how can we stay focused on what we want?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>Within each of us is an infinite capacity to shift our focus and viewpoints as rapidly as we want.\u00a0When we do this, we begin to focus on what we want and adjust the focus of the picture in our minds.\u00a0We use not only the point of view we choose but also another facet &#8211; our emotional state. The emotional state we stand in will act as a filter. It will also allow in certain vibrations &#8211; different aspects of our way of viewing &#8211; while blocking others.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>It is common for us to progress through different emotional states when we first engage with an image of something we want.
