E. Thomas Costello – better known as Tom – has been interested and involved in how healing happens, why it doesn’t happen, and who or what determines how long we live. When he was sixteen, his mother, a Registered Nurse with years of experience, stated “We know so little about healing,” and Tom’s questioning mind shifted into high gear. Working in a pharmacy throughout high school and soon after having misgivings about being a pharmacy major at Fordham University, he decided that pharmaceutical drugs were not the solution to healing and longevity.
Deep thinking into areas of spirituality, metaphysics, philosophy, and psychology has created a level of gratitude and confidence he transmits to others. He has concluded that if we don’t know much about healing and we don’t know much about dying, the state of the world generally and our society, in particular, is that we don’t know much about living either!
His quest to elevate his consciousness on the path to living to be 120 and healthy is the foundation of his life. He strives to create a life of qualigevity (quality + longevity) and to help others
re-conceive a lifespan of 100 or more years that leads to fulfillment, joy, and contributions rather than decline. He is unwavering in his belief that many conceptions about aging are outdated and misguided and that we can age well with mental preparation, healthy lifestyles, and long-term perspective.
